Washington State Department of Licensing requires all licensees (real estate brokers) referring a Home Inspector with whom they have or have had a relationship including, but not limited to, a business or familial relationship, to fully disclose that relationship. The term “business relationship” means that real estate broker has done business with the inspector previously, even if unrelated to inspection services.
